The Davidson GOP is Holding a "Pack-The-Trailer" Night for Relief Efforts in Western NC

(Lexington, NC)--The Davidson GOP is proud to announce that at their September Monthly Meeting they will be holding a "Pack-the-Trailer" event to collect supplies to assist Mark Robinson’s Campaign for disaster relief in western North Carolina after the recent flooding and other destruction brought about by Tropical Storm Fred.

Since taking over the reins of the Davidson GOP in March of this year, Chairman Christopher Jessup, Vice-Chairman John Spillman and the team they have assembled have been working on several initiatives to become more involved in their county and the local communities within their county lines. According to Chairman Jessup, “We want to show the citizens of Davidson County and throughout the state that we care about them and their communities.” After a much needed rebranding campaign for the Davidson GOP and a focus during the first 100 days on social media presence and outreach, Jessup wants to continue to establish a network of interconnected conservatives who support their communities through initiatives like the “Pack-the-Trailer” night. John Spillman, the vice-chair of the Davidson GOP, stated as much, “We have the opportunity to bring together a community of people, both virtually and in person, for the benefit of North Carolina’s Citizens. We can’t let any opportunity like that pass us by.”

The Davidson GOP will be packing their trailer on Thursday, September 2nd at Yarborough’s Restaurant in Lexington beginning at 6pm. In addition to bottled water, non-perishable food items, school supplies and toiletries, the items below were also requested.
