I would like to bring this incident to your attention:

On 10/02/24 at approx 1:30pm a black sedan (2D?) Florida tag FDH or FLH as the first three digits drove down Havenwood Dr from North Payne to the last house on the left, pulled in the driveway, then backed out. I was mowing our lawn at the time and watched the vehicle then drive back down Havenwood slowly, pause at our neighbors driveway and then stopped at our driveway. The vehicle was occupied by a w/m driver in his 30’s with a beard and mustache. The passenger was a w/f prob in her 20’s with a nose piercing. The male asked “is this was 197”. I confirmed that it was. He then asked me if I was Richard. I confirmed I was and then asked them for some ID because I had no idea who they were and why they were asking me questions. He said “we’re with the GOP, putting these up”. The female then held up some Trump door placards. I told him someone left one the other day. I also told him that I dont just give out info to anyone. I further advised him that the info he already had was available online and that anybody could get it. He then said “yeah, I have it right here Mary, Erika, Evyn” (my, wife, daughter in law and son). I said ok that’s because we gave that info out when we registered and we are all voting for Trump. He asked me if I wanted a free yard sign and that he could order me one. I told him I have a flag that would be up at some point. I told him I was prior law enforcement and that I am suspicious of people acting like they were. He told me "well, we are on a time limit per house so we gotta go. The car then drove away and never stopped at any house between mine and North Payne. Odd to me is that the car never stopped at any house on Havenwood Dr which has approx 12 houses on it, despite the fact that they had told me they were giving placards out. I find all of this very suspicious in nature, most notably that a car with Florida tags is campaigning in Davidson County NC. I would absolutely recognize both occupants if I saw them again. Please advise if this is a normal practice. Thank you.

She explained that his opponent, Josh Stein has admittedly said to to be involved in the communist party. Then I saw another commercial with Mr. Robinson talking. There were vile remarks that were shocking. Now what do I do?
